I've spent 18 years as a hairdresser, 11 years as a business/salon owner and a decade as a healer holding space for people's healing journeys.

It’s been 20 years this year, and well over $250K AUD invested in understanding my own mind and human behaviour through western psychology methods, hypnosis, nervous system work, rewiring of the brain, alternative modalities, deep spiritual work and entering the depths of the human psyche most people never go near in order to become who I am now.

Boudoir is all these parts of me, who I am, put together behind the lens. When someone gets behind the camera I see a human standing there. Not their conditioning, their younger versions of self, the regrets they have or the insecurities they feel. I see a person full of different versions of self, waiting to be seen. I see a human full of courage and strength and my job isn't to make someone look a certain way, it's to help them see what I see in them. A human trying to do the best they can in this experience we call life.

That's the whole business. It's not about aesthetics; it's about the exchange that happens when someone finally sees and feels themselves through a different lens.
