It started with weight gain, a piece of lingerie that didn't fit the way it used to, and a choice to shame oneself, or to see love.

Kristy chose love.

 

She picked up a camera, photographed what she thought were her flaws, and was utterly astonished with the beauty she captured and the feeling it ignited in her. Kristy printed out the photos and placed them on her wall. Every time she walked past, her heart exploded.

After eighteen years as a hairdresser, years of burlesque dance, running spiritual women's groups, supporting couples to regain intimacy and spending a lifetime helping others step into themselves, it hit her like a ton of bricks. This was always where she was headed.
